Booking terms and conditions

By placing a deposit on your reservation with Venus Summer Retreats (hereafter referred to as VSR), you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by the following policies, terms, and conditions.

Booking

  • After receipt of the applicable deposit amount you will be issued a written confirmation of your booking. Please check your confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to Venus immediately. You agree to provide full, complete and accurate information to VSR.

Payment Policy

Retreat Bookings

  • All deposits are non-transferrable, and required to confirm your booking.
  • Guarantee policy: Upon booking, a deposit equaling the amount of 50% of your total stay is due in order to confirm your reservation. This is payable by bank transfer, or Paypal (subject to additional charges)
  • The remaining 50% is to be paid a minumum of 30 days prior to your arrival. If at any point you wish to make upgrades to your booking (additional nights, people, or activities), there will not be an additional deposit required for these extras.
  • VSR may, from time to time, offer reduced pricing or promotions on retreat packages at their discretion, with reduced pricing upon cancellation of a current booking.
  • Venus Snow Retreats in it’s sole discretion, may allow a portion of payments to be transferred as credit towards a future retreat to be valid up to one year.

Cancellation policy

  • Cancellations made up to 61 days prior to your arrival will result in a credit issued for the value of your deposit, to be used towards a future stay, valid for up to one year (restrictions apply).
  • Cancellations made within 60 days of your arrival date will result in a loss of your 50% deposit. Cancellations made within 15 days prior to arrival, or no-shows, will be charged in full.
  • Departing early will be regarded as a last-minute cancellation, and the guest will be charged for the entire stay booked, unless otherwise agreed prior to arrival. VSR strongly reccommends all its visitors to purchase full travel insurance, please check with your provider regarding cancellation policies.
  • In the event of travel being cancelled or otherwise affected due to personal injury or illness, the above cancelation policies may be reviewed, on a case by case basis.
  • VSR may, at thier discretion, offer reduced pricing or promotions on future retreat packages with reduced pricing upon cancellation of a current booking.

Damages

  • Damages incurred to resort property as a result of occupant or guest of occupant will result in fees that will be billed directly to the retreat occupant. Fees may vary depending on the amount necessary to replace the damaged property.

Smoking

  • VSR is a non-smoking property, and thus smoking is prohibited within the cabins. Smoking on the property will result in a fee of 250 Euro – billed directly to the retreat occupant.

Terms & Conditions – General

  • All rates listed on the website include taxes and/or additional service charges.
  • For payment options – we accept Paypal (additional charges apply), wire transfer, and card settlements for any onsite purchases during your stay.
  • All rates are to be settled in Euro.
  • Package itineraries are subject to change without prior notice at VSR discretion. In the case of adverse weather or lack of snow, alternate activites will be provided.
  • VSR may ask any participant or guest to forfeit their stay or place at the resort at any time if the individual’s behaviour is interrupting the retreat or other resort guests’ stay.
  • You must be 18 years of age and over to attend a retreat. Each adult on a booking with a minor or minors is jointly and responsible for the behaviour, wellbeing, supervision and monitoring of such minor(s), and jointly accepts this Policies for and on behalf of any minor(s) on their booking, including all assumptions of risk and limitations of liability.
  • VSR does not provide care services for minors and expressly disclaims any responsibility for chaperoning or supervising any minor(s).
  • Any special requirements of a guest must be disclosed to VSR at the time of booking. VSR will go to reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements or requests, but this is not always possible. Certain areas of the resort may be inaccessible to you if your mobility is limited in any way.
  • All food allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed to VSR at the time of booking. VSR will not be liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfil any special requirements, if this has not been informed of at the time of booking.
  • VSR recommends that any guest or retreat participant have travel insurance with a minimum medical, evacuation and repatriation coverage of €100,00.00 covering all applicable dates of stay, and including but not limited to sporting activities such as skiing and snowboarding.
  • This insurance should provide coverage for personal injury and emergency medical expenses. You acknowledge that insurance coverage is not included in the cost of your reservation with VSR
